Hey, guys! Enjoy the hangout. Christopher, you're in charge here, so let me know if you need plugins or other support.

Everyone else, have a good time! I look forward to seeing the game design of this community.

By necessity, I'm an admin here, which means I can read your whispers.

    Thanks J!

Everyone, if you know Vanilla (I don't, yet) and want plugins, speak up. Is there any risk to enabling HTML in posts the way KF does? (I.e. does it still protect against script tags?)

Thanks Joshua! It's really awesome to be more easily connected to local gamers than a yahoo group. I despise yahoo groups. Hopefully this forum will lead to more of us getting together, new people like me, and playing some games.

Chris, I'll review which Vanilla extensions I think would be must-have. I'm not a big fan of BBCode. It is doing funny things with my whitespace.

I love Markdown. I recommend it highly. I'll pop in the HTML formatter, too.

You know what Vanilla really needs? A quick markup reference, so I don't have to Google it every time I want to use Markdown or BBCode.

We need that extension that puts a link to whisper (and quote) next to each post.

Feeds would be nice. The existing RSS thing doesn't seem to do anything. I like this extension.

    Hey, guys,

Something is mysteriously wrong that won't allow me to install plugins, so NO HTML FOR YOU! HA HA!

Larry, if you want a Markdown reference, just copy and paste one into a post!

  5.

Joshua, thanks for looking into it anyway. :)
